About Our Studio
In 2013 we, John and Penny West converted some farm outbuildings into what has become our studio, showroom and home. We wished to be in a rural environment where we could further develop our ranges of functional stoneware, firing our work in our outdoor kilns, creating our trademark domestic stoneware under the name of Lansdown Pottery.
John has also created a range of individual ceramic pieces, wood and soda fired, which are exhibited and sold under his own name.
